Botanika Cafe Ridgefield

Tried this place the other day - super tasty and clean food! Love that everything is vegan, gluten free, and I think most of it (or all?) is organic. I’d be back frequently, but I live over 2 hours away. I wish I lived closer or that there was healthier restaurants like this near me. I will absolutely stop by again if in the area. I will say it was on the pricey end for me (we got a taco bowl, a sandwich, 3 beverages, and a mini muffin for $60), but I’m not from the area nor do I usually spend that much eating out, including at plant-based places local to me. If you’re from Ridgefield or surrounding areas you might not find it expensive, though… it’s all relative. Plus, you’re getting top quality clean food.

The food was deliciously good and a variety of vegan dishes to try. Coming from Rockland County in NY it was a bit far, but well worth the trip. We even bought a couple of dinners to take home. A small bohemian vibe a definite place to stop and have some good eats!

My husband, our son, and I visited Botanika Café again — and once again, we were absolutely delighted. This place holds a special place in our hearts. I’m finally writing a review because every time we leave, we feel lighter, happier — everything here is made with such love and intention. Our son especially loved the fruit pancakes with the chia jam — he said they were the best he’s ever had and finished them in no time! My husband went for the Classic Country Breakfast, which was hearty and so satisfying, and I chose the Buddha Bowl — colorful, nourishing, and bursting with flavor. Every ingredient tastes fresh, balanced, and prepared with real care. The atmosphere at the café is warm and cozy, the kind of place that makes you want to stay longer. The staff are so kind and attentive, with a real understanding of the food and a thoughtful approach to each guest. You can tell it’s all done with heart. We’re wishing the Botanika Café team all the best — thank you for creating such a sincere, feel-good experience. We’ll definitely keep coming back.

We ate there on Mother's Day and they told us right away they were short staffed and there would be an extra wait, but it was worth the wait! Nice, comfortable atmosphere and the food and drinks were delicious.

I’ve been here a few times and the food has always been really yummy but the service is horrible. We were ignored for the first 10 minutes while the person working behind the counter made herself a drink then it took absolutely forever to get our food. Another time, the chef/owner wasn’t there and we were told they didn’t know when she would be back. We waited 45 minutes and again, service was crazy slow once we were finally able to order. It’s a cool atmosphere with tons of plants but I’m not sure what’s going on with the staff. Super disappointing.

Every meal I’ve had here has been so delicious! The staff is really helpful, as I can’t eat dairy, gluten or nuts, and they are able to confirm for me what is safe for me to order. Wonderful atmosphere, too!

Love their grilled veggie plate and Pad Thai And cookies

I've been taking my boys here for over a year now quite often. The owner is always so kind to us and makes sure we are happy with our order. It takes longer to get your order because it's made with love! We will continue coming back.

We ordered three small coffees and two cookies for a whopping $35. The small latte was listed at $4.75 but rang up at $6.75. When we asked why, the answer was that the coffee shop next door raised their prices too, and besides, the ingredients here are organic. Unfortunately, all the coffees were burnt, and the cookies were as dry as sand and lacking completely in flavour. We waited 15 minutes for everything, while the two staff members behind the counter looked completely disorganized. Dirty dishes sat untouched on the tables. A little disappointing, especially since Ridgefield seems like such a charming town.

received a gift card, and I've been a vegan for a few years now and was so very happy with the food that we had. yes it may take alittle longer to get but honestly, it was worth the wait—super fresh ingredients—try for yourself—you won't be disappointed.
