Books bands and then doesn't pay them. Edit: they have paid the bands from the JER show on June 18th as of yesterday. They took nearly 2 weeks to pay them and were NOT communicating effectively. A local zine (who my screenshot references) experienced the same- no communication, and as of today (6/30) dyingmetaphorzine has NOT been paid still. This seems to be a pattern for yall and it's slimy to act like this is "deeply untrue".

I would give 0 stars if I could. It’s a political agenda push masked as a restaurant. They demonstrate hate and discrimination against anyone different than them. There is 0 tolerance and everything they say they represent is opposite of their actual brand. Update: The owner’s response is a perfect example of what I’m talking about. How original. People still call people Karen? How professional.

I have been in there 3 times and every time I go I want so badly to have a good time. My wife and I have wanted to support it as a queer space but the vibes are never quite what we hope for, it always feels hostile and pretty racist as I have watched them ignore and be very rude to my wife multiple times when she was just attempting to order from the bar or ask a question. The person who helped us today literally borderline yelled at her when she asked her to clarify something on the menu, we were the only people in there and were treated like we were bothering them. I worked in food service for a long time so I am usually very forgiving and understanding but the service there in general is bad and just not actually welcoming to Black people. There are such few vegan restaurants options here, I really wish it was a better experience to go there.
