I’ve been coming here for years but I feel it’s time to finally rave about one of my favorite local establishments. Not a single thing on the menu disappoints; their specials are creative and uniquely Kayak Kafe, the staff is as spectacular as the food, and their drinks are spectacular. I set this review at the location in Midtown but my praises for this place extend to their Broughton location as well.

Wings were very good, with excellent BBQ and house made ranch. The Wild GA Salad was a disappointment. For $19, I would hope for something that wasn't 90% lettuce. There were six bite-size shrimp that weren't even cooked to order, and three thin slices of avocado. We also ordered sweet potato fries (for an extra $5!!) that were underdone, and the Cubano had good bread but mediocre fillings. I get paying a premium for fresh ingredients, but it's not worth it when the execution is poor or there isn't enough offered.
