If you love Thai food, you will LOVE this little piece of that region in downtown Hono. Had a late afternoon lunch date there yesterday and it started off my holiday weekend in the best way. We have been going here for years, and I almost hate to share how fun and enjoyable it is- I don't want to ruin it. A great little patio decorated with every detail. Grab a table next to the pond if u can. And be sure to make a reservation. The menu is BIG, so go hungry. Great spot to eat before a show at the theater.

Chef’s kiss! Omg it’s so good!! Our food Was well prepared and served fresh, literally piping hot. I usually always do pick up but today I did DoorDash and the delivery was OK. Very tasty and fresh if you look at my video. This is the best Thai place on island. We got the khao pad fried rice with tofu and veggies. There were some chx wings but someone didn’t get a photo. Must try. We love Olay’s and will be dining in soon. It’s such a beautiful restaurant inside!!❤️

Olay's Thai Lao Cuisine has a vast array of options for food and spices. Did I mention they have a koi pond with turtles. The food is top notch and will definitely zap your hunger for thai food. If you are downtown look no further than Olay's Thai Lao Cuisine. Fantastic Ice coffee too.

DoorDash order: I hope this message reaches the management. Ive been ordering from here many times, Olays always hit the spot. This time I got chicken satay, and the chicken was DARK and SOUR. It tasted spoilt like it was old and unfresh. The taste was really sour and bad. For $18, spoilt chicken is really bad. I hope you take a look at your ingredients, and make sure they are all fresh. I know what your usual satay tastes like (ordered 5+ times). And this chicken was really spoilt. When you start buying the cheapest meat, we customers know it. Also the mango sticky rice had like 4 tiny pieces of mango 99% rice. Unfortunately, this is our goodbye, I will be ordering from a different Thai place from now on. Please reevaluate your ingredients and produce and make sure it's not spoilt. If the chicken is gray/black color when you bite intoit you know it isnt fresh.

Every time we go there it's great, but I noticed that the chef must have changed from the last time.My panang did not taste the same. And the presentation wasn't as nice It was good but not as good. I love the lilikoi mock drink And the squid appetizer is fabulous. This was the first time the presentation was lovely.

This lovely, cozy restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with fresh ingredients and a BYOB policy that comes with no corkage fees. The portions are generous, and the staff is incredibly friendly, making you feel right at home. The seating area features a charming small pond with turtles and fish, creating a pleasant atmosphere that enhances the overall experience. I had a great time and will definitely return! There are plenty of options on the menu, making it perfect for families and vegetarians alike.

Giving this place a 1 star not for the taste but for the lack of allergy warnings in their food. My wife and I ordered and ate the Mango Sticky Rice from DoorDash thinking we were going to have a great dessert to end our night. However, come to find out, this dessert has peanuts in it. My wife proceeded to have an allergic reaction and I spent the rest of the night with her EpiPen in my hand with 911 pre-typed and ready to dial in case things got bad. I later checked the Doordash menu and the menu posted on Google Reviews (from 6 months ago) and both mention nothing about peanuts in the dessert. Furthermore, I called the restaurant (the same day) and confirmed that there are peanuts in the Mango Sticky Rice. This restaurant is lucky I’m not single with nothing to lose anymore, because a younger me would’ve showed up ready to send the management in the restaurant to meet our lord and savior Jesus Christ earlier than he expected. It’s 2025! Update your online platforms and menus to reflect possible allergy issues. This restaurant is asking for a future lawsuit in the making.

It was just 2 of us. We came on Friday after work, starving and ready for weekend. We called for reservation and the Restaurant is BYoB. Service was bad. Our waiter looks like he hated to be the there working. Food was just ok, very mediocre. Nothing special. Restaurants laid out is very cool and remind you like when you were in Thailand. TBH for me it was just one and done. I won't be coming back anytime soon.
