I preface that I'd maybe give this place another chance but my first experience was mediocre. Monday night at 7. I felt service was more trying to clean up and get out then tend to us which ironically kept us there later. We never got checked on for more drinks even though we were the only table. I had to raise my hand to ask for one. They were out of ingredients on their food and drink menu and had to make subpar substitutions. I got bison brisket per recommendation and was incredibly disappointed with the portion/filling Ness for $36. My date though had salmon with was a much bigger plate. So idk maybe I'd go back but with so many other options around, it's a hard sell for how much money I spent.

Burnt pancakes and hollandaise sauce so thin and watery it looked like mustard and water with no taste. Good coffee though.

The atmosphere is slightly upscale, pleasant, and maybe a little more old fashioned. Cloth napkins and stemware. The food has been pretty good, and on specifically one or two occasions it was very good. The prices are a little on the higher side, the portions were reasonable, but you probably won't have leftovers. Not a frequent staple place in my rotation, but if you haven't been it is probably worth giving it a chance for a special occasion. They do a weekly community table, four course pre-fixe dinner with the owner. Including optional wine or mocktail pairings. Worth checking out for a special occasion if you are feeling social.

Had the tenderloin and other than it being severally under cook, the reduction on it was amazing. Ordered medium rare and came rare. Wife ordered Medium and came medium rare.

Delicious, fresh, local farmers yummies, fun location, great service, lots of vegan options, lots of organic—this was my first time here and it’s a jewel in a cute neighborhood. Delicious brunch options, homemade jam, I got the Fancy pancakes w vegan butter and a biscuit w fresh jam. Yes.

One of my favorite local spots to bring anyone new to KC to experience!

Had a great brunch, lots of options to choose from.

Walked on Morhersday and asked for seating for 1... the lady was extremely rude. Didnt feel welcomed at all. It was embarrassing. Seats at the bar but nobody was servicing at the bar, so that area was closed. I felt bad for them, but there are better ways to handle these typea of obstacles being rude isnt one of them....I will NOT be visiting this establishment in the near future.

A really lovely spot with a great menu, wine list, and very welcoming owner.
