The BBQ sandwich was phenomenal. The Gyro... Jesus christ. Perfect. The cheesesteak 👏 👏 👏 Breakfast burrito 🌯 so good.. Everything was incredible. The BBQ and Gyro are to die for though. Friendly faces behind the counter. Took a minute but it was worth the wait. Hope they stick around.

Fantastic vegan takeout restaurant right around the corner from white eagle hall. I had the chickpea sandwich and a cookie and loved both. My friend had the barbecue jerk sandwich, both of which tasted incredible. The lobby only had two tables to eat at but for a pretty reasonable price (including sides) it's well worth it's money as a high quality takeout restaurant. Can't wait to come back and try something new!

In the ocean of greasy gastropubs and burger joints that is Jersey City, there sits an oasis of delicious vegan food called Power Plant Kitchen. Power Plant is by far my favorite place in the area to get take out, and I'm not even a vegetarian. It's healthy enough without sacrificing flavor, and has plenty of great options. I personally love the BBQ seitan. Soooo thankful to have this spot as an option.

Great, flavorful vegan food. Prices were good, and the lady at the counter was polite and had a good attitude. I assume it's mostly for takeout, as there was only one small table, with two stools.

Fantastic! Everything we ordered was delicious and so fresh and perfectly cooked with generous portions. Can’t wait to order again!! Highly recommend- so grateful to have such yummy vegan food available. =)

Plant Powered Kitchen is an amazing blessing to the Plant Based Jersey City Community! I’ve been eating the Boycemode meal prep for years and Power Plant Kitchen is the next evolution of this amazing brand and food. I love the unique combinations of dishes and the taste is unbelievable. Thank you for providing such quality offerings.

I first want to say that it is great to have a vegan spot especially so close from my home that offers such a variety of dishes and some sweets as well. I have tried a couple of your dishes so far but I did feel that the food as it did have flavor and spice, for me the it was too salty and made it hard to eat a lot it. It could have been the dishes I tried so I hope to see if next time that will not be the case.

I want to preface this by saying that I am not a Vegan, however I occasionally indulge in Vegan/plant based foods and remain open minded. I have had several plant based meals in my time and I have always enjoyed them but not enough to say I'll get it again. This is not the case with the BBQ Jerk Seitan Sandwich I got from here! It was absolutely amazing. If your one that doesn't want to get messy while eating this might not be for you however, it's definitely WORTH IT. Everything was seasoned to perfection and the sides were also delicious. The macaroni salad and the kale salad were a nice side to this sandwich. I also ordered the cheeseburger Mac n cheese and that was also tasty and the portion was just right. If my meals are as delicious as what I had today, I could definitely see myself adding more vegan meals to my diet. Im 100% looking forward to going back and trying several different meals. Keep up the phenomenal cooking.
