I used to love this place and ordered frequently until tonight. There was a dead roach in the nuggets I ordered. I ordered a bunch of food and feel sick at the thought of eating it now. I’m so disappointed. Luckily I got a refund. There is no reason for something like this to happen. And they’re not listed on the nyc health inspection/rating site for some reason. Hope this place steps up its standards. Eat here at your own risk I guess.

Asked for a medium chicken and broccoli platter. Medium was supposed to come with 3 sides per the menu and I assumed the chicken would be some type of protein like other vegan/ vegetarian restaurants (I’ve been vegan for 6yrs). I asked what was my other 2 options for sides and was told it only comes with a side of broccoli. I pointed out what it said on the menu and was told again that it comes with one side of broccoli and one protein which is the “chicken”. When I got my plate it was deep fried oily cauliflower with broccoli. Got nauseous 5min after eating and couldn’t finish. That was $18 not worth it to me. I also wouldn’t consider deep fried cauliflower protein.

I love everything about this place. The entire staff are the nicest people around. The food is consistently delicious. My new favorite is the vegan ch’ckn Roti. The bbq drumsticks are incredible. The citrus ch’ckn combination with rice and Chana is one of my go-to’s. The mushrooms are incredible too. I like to call in advance because good things take time. You won’t be disappointed with this place

Friendly service. Really good food. Doesn't taste like anything I have had before in vegan food. The spices and textures aren't the usual frozen Asian stuff or the weird salty processed crap. Honestly couldn't tell certain things were not chicken. Big inside. Side wall is cool. Not a popping place I don't think but there is room if you needed.
