Green Sage Café South

Green Sage is my go-to when I need something clean, plant-based, and healing—especially during autoimmune flares. The food is fresh, nourishing, and always made with care. I usually order the Havana Bowl for delivery, and it never disappoints. It’s comforting, flavorful, and feels like exactly what my body needs. So grateful for a place that makes eating well this easy—even on tough days.

I came to this place with high expectations. The price didn't matter to me until I tried the quality of the food. The food wasn't tasty at all. We ordered an avocado blt wrap, and it wasn't tasty. The sesame slaw had a very disappointing flavor, and what made me not want to come back was the "iced mocha latte." Please look for videos on YouTube at least before putting something on your menu that you have no idea how to make. An expensive place for what they offer, and if we're talking about the staff, they need to hire people who make customers feel like they're in a good place, not staff whose faces make you want to run away. At least the place is clean, and I'm giving it 3 stars because maybe other items on the menu are better, and maybe the staff on another shift is different. Thanks for so little.

Love this place, pretty expensive however. $10 for a basic smoothie is bonkers.

Nice place and it's nice to have vegan options. The food was good but on the pricey side. I spent $16 for two pancakes. They were tasty though. My wife said she liked her falafel wrap.

I had a black bean sandwich. The sandwich was very good. I was impressed that the whole black bean Patty filled the bun. It was. I wanted the sweet potato chips but they ran short and so they made sweet potato fries without asking me just to make sure that I was happy with my order. Very impressed with their thoughtfulness and service

I ordered a Havana bowl with “”roasted sweet potatoes “. Not roasted but deep fried. Yuck

I've been to this south Green Sage location several times and the delicious food keeps me coming back. Order at the counter and eat in the cafe dining room or outside on a covered patio! Many vegan, vegetarian and healthy options to choose from and EVERYthing is GOOD! Really good espresso beverages, too!

The bowls are smaller, prices higher. Only 3 teeny cubes of avocado in the avocado salsa. Extra avocado was $5/6, and you get 3 teeny tiny pieces. Barely any kale at all in my very dry Pura Vida bowl. Mostly rice. No more Celtic Salt. They used to have a lemon dressing without tahini. It was my favorite. Order takers used to be very personable. Not today. This place is changing over the years. That’s for sure. But not in a great way. Agh.

Expect to pay 10% more than what you see listed on the menu. They charge a 10% service fee to "support back of house wages" Kind of shady in my opinion, just raise your prices and pay your staff more, so your customers aren't caught off guard and know what to expect.
