As someone who thoroughly enjoys cooking and does it regularly, it can be difficult to eat out and feel satisfied paying the amount of money things cost. When you know you can make something like that at home. But this food cart does not disappoint. It’s probably some of my favorite food I’ve ever eaten in my life and I would eat there every single day. It’s Affordable, Flavorful, Healthy, And above all you can taste the soulfulness. Delicious food!

Came all the way from Saint Helens to get this food and it was 💯 worth it! Such a beautiful day in the city at the food carts and I’m always on the hunt for the best vegan food. This place is a MUST. You get so much food for the price and the mashed potatoes are insanely addictive. I appreciate anyone who uses mushrooms and other whole foods as plant based “meat” instead of the processed alternatives. I will definitely go back and bring more friends to share it with.

Best vegan food in town! Everything is good

I don't usually leave reviews, but had to for this place. I got the chicken dinner without having closely read the menu--I didn't realize it was going to be vegan chicken. I'm a meat eater, but after a few bites I had absolutely no regrets. The breading was *delicious* and the texture of the mushrooms was perfect. I got the okra and mac as sides, and the okra was great, but the mac was something really special. I've never had such good vegan mac before. I could've eaten a bowl of it on its own and come back for seconds. Highly recommend--can't wait to come back and try more of their food!

Was really excited to try this place and we spent a good amount. I honestly didn’t really care for a lot of it. Not bad, but not good. The best part was the mashed potatoes and Mac, which was more just a creamy pasta. The bad, the fried “chicken” was not a great texture (rubbery) and the flavor was bland. The meatloaf was grossly mushy in some spots but cooked in others, flavor was ok. One suggestion aside, the ranch used (Hidden Valley?) was honestly disgusting and overpriced. It’s really easy to make a non dairy ranch. The service was ok. I prefer another spot for vegan fried chicken off of Fremont.

Owner was nice as hell and (oyster mushroom) “fried chicken” was bomb. Huge portions.

Wowww the gumbo! This place is amazing quality and so dang tasty. The fried asparagus and okra were top notch. I heard the vegan lasagna has to be the next thing I try. It’s in a space that has a huge seating area, full bar, overall a great spot! Can’t wait to come back.

Amazing food- so delicious. Recommend everything on the menu.
