Been going here for 10 years. Always consistently good food and service! My go to is the brunchwrap supreme with fries. Friendly, helpful staff and delicious vegan food.

I’d come back for the “crunch wrap” alone, but honestly everything I’ve had has been amazing. The jackfruit brisket hash and Ruben are my other go-to dishes. Always top notch. My partner is obsessed with with vegan drumsticks and rarely gets anything else. You can skip the mushroom waffle though. Just doesn’t hit the same everything else.

I ordered from them for delivery. I got the chick'n waffle. It was advertised as having maple syrup and powdered sugar. It arrived dry. When I went back to the menu to double check it came with syrup and powder sugar the description indeed said that it did. But in the drop down menu for options I saw you were supposed to ADD syrup, butter, powder sugar etc for extra $1-3 each. I was flabbergasted. If you look in the Google photos, you can see multiple images of the Chick'n waffle served with powdered sugar, maple syrup and butter. I have a feeling they don't charge extra $$$ for those things if you go in the restaurant because of how poorly it would be received. The food is already upcharged to compensate for the fees associated with delivery apps (which I am completely supportive of,) why try to rip people off on top of that? Very disappointing.

Such delicious food and very friendly staff. I love bringing folks from out of town here for a portland brunch experience. It’s a cute place and everything is so yummy.

The food is good. Period. Definitely comfort food, simple foods, very basic. The service is typically great. I would advise avoiding Off the Griddle on the weekends. I typically only go early in the week due to the increased levels of business.

I'm not reviewing technically, but just want folks to know that Off the Griddle does not serve vegetarian burgers. I just called as I was planning to order and they said they did not have vegetarian burgers. :(

Do yourself a favor and just go here. You don't need to waste time thinking about it. It can be incredibly difficult to eat out as a vegan whose also GF. As a family, we shared chick'n and Waffles, tempeh bacon, tofu scramble, Biscuit and gravy, hashbrowns, and I believe their house made sausage (not sure, but delicious). Husband liked the sausage best, then it's a toss up between the chik'n and tempeh bacon. Kids normally prefer waffles, fruit, and hashbrowns, but they also loved the tofu scramble and the sausage. Also, server was super patient and kind. Run here now.
