Love being here! It's such a fun atmosphere and my friends and I always have a good time! The drinks are great and we love the whipped ricotta appetizer.

Updated Review as of 7/3/2025: Just came back to Monster Vegan for the first time in a few years. Amazing as ever. The Argento was perfect and just what I needed! Atmosphere and wait staff were great. Not sure what the last few reviewers were talking about with the prices. They are perfectly in line with any other good restaurant in Philly, and considering the portion sizes and everything else, they're totally acceptable. I've been to a few Vegan restaurants around the country now, and I honestly think Monster Vegan is one of, if not the, most delicious vegan restaurant out there now! This is my absolute favorite restaurant. The BAVA sandwich is amazing. No idea how they made the vegan ricotta but it's awesome. General Tso's wings are perfect. The chicken Bahn Mi sandwich is so satisfying. Last but not least is the ambience! I love the theme of the restaurant and the staff is great! I'm not a vegan and when I eat their food, I can't tell I'm eating vegan!

Great food and good service but the prices are too high, also I really dislike the 20% service charge automatically added to the bill... bit much. Maybe pay your staff properly from the menu item prices?

Food was delicious but very expensive, i ordered a side of plain fries without looking at the price.. $10! Service was great of course, but they add 20% tip automatically which makes it NOT a gratuity, but a tax! Your prices are high enough to pay your staff a living wage without doing that. Tipping culture is really out of hand. Place is cool though, nice atmosphere and good music.

What the actual heck guys?! You have done such a great job here. We got the cheesesteak with the steak upgrade and the Ceasar salad with the calamari on top and they both punched me in the face with flavor. Whether you are vegan or not, you will be impressed with this place. Our server Huri was also fantastic which just put the cherry on top. Thank you for such a great dining experience.
