Fantastic food, warm service, and old school diner vibes! The Tasty never fails. The food is so delicious and wholesome. I would pay to get a hold of their buckwheat pancake recipe! Can’t go wrong with any choices whether it’s from their breakfast or lunch menu. Will come here time and time again.

Very cute little vegan nook.

I never enjoyed going to diners because the vegan options were so limited. I have yet to find another 'vegan diner' out there, but even if I did I'm sure they couldn't compare to The Tasty. Everything we have had here has been incredible and has left us craving more for weeks after.

I usually order from the breakfast menu, because good vegan breakfast food is hard to come by and everything I've gotten has always been amazing! The staff is friendly and accomodating and I love the diner vibe. My boyfriend (who is not vegan) regularly wants to go here- it's a little far from our current place but we never mind making the drive out!

Amazing vegan food, lovely decor. We got the breakfast burrito and the dirty jersey, which did not disappoint. The breakfast burrito took me back to a time when I wasn't vegan.

I can forgive the lack of presentation or seasoning or subpar customer service but for the cost please put the blueberries IN the pancakes or let us put cheese on the home fries I’m begging

Unfortunately, I have to leave a negative review for one of my favorite spots. I’ve visited this restaurant before and usually enjoy the experience, but today (Father’s Day, June 15th, 2025) was disappointing. When I walked in, the atmosphere felt rushed—even though the restaurant wasn’t visibly busy. The customer service was unwelcoming, and I felt dismissed while trying to place my order. It was uncomfortable, almost as if I was being singled out. The woman at the register, a heavier-set Caucasian woman, was particularly cold in her approach. I came in hoping to grab a good meal and spend the day relaxing with my children, but the service left a bad taste before I even got to the food. Because of this, I don’t think I’ll be returning for a while.

I ordered the special, which was similar to the tater tot bowl. The breakfast was well presented and hot. Unfortunately, my breakfast was very bland. I gave the restaurant 5 stars for service and atmosphere .

The tasty has been one of my favorite restaurants since I moved to Philadelphia 8 years ago. Thank you for existing!
