Leyla Fine Lebanese Cuisine

My husband is Lebanese and Dolly, Joseph and their son Anthony 😍 made our experience very memorable! She made us a special order of meat grape leaves that we thought tasted like his Grandma made - they are an incredible family team ❤️ that makes you feel at home in their lovely restaurant! The freshest incredible ingredients that your palate will thank you!!! We ate there 2 of the 4 nights we were in Charleston SC- now that says ALOT! Warmest Regards, Ed & Kaila

We visited Leylas on Saturday for dinner with family and friends. We are all vegetarians and struggled to find great vegetarian options near our hotel. Absolutely loved the Leylas food. I had falafel with hummus and fries for appetizer, mujadra for main course and osmalieh for dessert. I have eaten a lot of Mediterranean and specifically Lebanese food and this was hands down the best i have ever had. The mujadra was so well mixed , just thrbright amount of spices, crunch and filling. Quantities were perfect and presentation was great. The first time I have had osmalieh and am so glad the chef recommended it. This will be my go to dessert from now. We spoke to Leyla afterwards . Her story , told so graciously was amazing to hear. Women power to her as well. All is all I couldn't recommend Leylas more

Everything is perfectly cooked, reminding us of our mother's food back in Lebanon!!!

My husband and I went here for the first time for our anniversary. I ordered the Moussaka; it was like a warm (and delicious) hug in my mouth! The falafel was really tasty too. My husband said he liked his lamb shank. We sat at a table by the window; we were able to people watch while talking. I tend to be cold so it was nice to be by the sun. Our food was prepared and delivered to us in a timely manner. They were also attentive to our beverages. All of the staff we interacted with were pleasant. They were also able to help with my food sensitivities. If you're thinking about it, just try it! I have to go back to get lentil soup and hummus!

The service and atmosphere was phenomenal. The food is special, it’s all made from scratch using the best and highest quality ingredients. I’m Lebanese and the food exceeded my expectations. The owner’s name is Dolly and she is polite, honest and hard working. She personally made sure everything for all of her customers was up to par and Mike the server could not have offered better service. Give this place a shot, it’s conveniently located on king street and by far the best restaurant we’ve had all weekend.

Highly highly recommend!! Food was fantastic, service was impeccable, and the quality of the food was very clear to be top notch. Even the owner came out to speak w us and make sure our experience was pleasant, which meant a lot to me. I will definitely be coming back every time I visit Charleston and will bring my entire family here next time. I have nothing but good things to say. Thank you to everyone at Leyla for making my experience so wonderful!

Wow!!!! My visit to Leyla's was my first authentic Mediterranean dining experience. Andrew, Gabi, and Mike were so hospitable and helpful during our visit. We were there for a staff dinner, and it was the perfect experience to celebrate our milestone. I will definitely be back the next time I am in Charleston.

This was the best meal we’ve had in years. Excellent quality and preparation. Personal and attentive service. Leyla even came to our table to make sure we were pleased with how she prepared our food. Exceptional value for “real” food. Not salted or sugared to hide low quality. The spices were a culinary delight. Would recommend to anyone who understands what “real” food is.
