This place is the perfect vegan hideaway. Atmosphere was great. Food was awesome. And the service was spectacular! Our server Karon knew the best foods, suggested what drinks to pair and an all around great spirit! Will definitely visit again when we’re back in Houston💪🏾🙏🏾💯

Second time coming and I've enjoyed both times. This time I ordered the Gumbo bowl, but they gave me the Lump Crab Gumbo bowl (which is a few dollars higher btw). It was pretty good, and I love the sauces, the seasonings, and the drinks that I've had both times. Only complaint was having to wait for a bit, the atmosphere was nice but I couldn't enjoy as much due to seating, and parking can be a hassle depending on day and time. This is a great spot to go if you would like to go vegan, and I love coming here. Great restaurant with great hospitality!

Koran was our sever and he was awesome. I have never been to a plant base restaurant. The food was great. The shroom&chicken waffles were great. I also tried the Motown mont, boudain balls and the nacho egg rolls. Everything was great. Great location, atmosphere and food. I will definitely return upon my next visit to Houston.

A group of us (3) came here to try out their brunch. Upon arrival (1015AM) we were told it was a 30 minute wait - so we decided to wait. Unfortunately, while waiting a rainstorm breezed through and extended our wait time. We finally were seated, outside, at 1145AM. We had great customer service from our waiter, Derek, and didn’t have to wait long for the food. I ordered the Shrooms and Grits flight and added Breakfast Sausage. I didn’t too much like the sausage as it didn’t come out hot (temp) and was a little too crumbly. The grits were cooked well and I enjoyed the crunch of the mushrooms on top - my top flavor was the hot honey. The best item was the drink I ordered - PYT. I thoroughly enjoyed it! Overall, I came here because my friend is vegan and it’s a spot where she could eat. They could improve on their RSVP system and timing once you’re seated to eat/drink.

We are not vegan by any means, but we do like good food and good atmosphere And that is what we found at MO’s. Jai, Our server, was delightful. The Coltrane Croissant Sandwich was an explosion of moist flavor on the palette. The hot honey actions and waffle was a good mix of sweet and savory. The lavender latte was also very nice. There are many things that look good on the Friday night menu and we will be back to try them.

Service definitely left something to be desired. We arrived roughly around 1:15, and not too long after we arrived, another group of 5 that was waiting, was leaving. They gave their position in line to us, but the hostess (Chloe) said it was their discretion to honor the switch. Because Chloe didn’t think it was fair to other people that had been waiting for longer, she didn’t honor it. This was upsetting but understandable. We did talk to the manager Chanise about Chloe’s tone and customer management as general feedback. However, as we continued to wait, we had multiple interactions regarding where we waited with Chloe singling us out to the point that other customers stated it seemed she was “targeting” us. There was a point where we were vaping, and she informed us it wasn’t allowed, so not including that instance. At around 2:15, we still had 10 people in front of us on the waiting list. I observed there were 2 tables of 5 that had been prepared for the next group, however no one was seated until around 2:30 with little to no name calling in between. When I asked Chanise the reason for the hold up, she stated she didn’t want to give any details and her demeanor changed. We were finally seated around 2:45. Derek was a great waiter and the other hostess was really kind. It’s unfortunate how the customer service issues greatly impacted our experience. It was raining so that impacted atmosphere and service.

My friend and I stopped by expecting it to be good but not this good. I had to stop 4x during my meal to comment on how delicious everything was. We shared an order of boudin balls—MUST—and I got the sweet potato hash and she got the mushroom and waffles and we were going halfsies. My goodness. Flavor explosion. Hash was so nourishing, textures and quality was immaculate, while the boudin balls had this comforting and exciting spice profile (not spicyyy) and the mushroom and waffles will be one of the dishes I never forget. You don’t have to be vegan to eat something this tasty! We got there around 11:50 on a Sunday and waited 1.5 hours and it was worth it. Not a lot of parking on site but tons of street parking where you don’t have to walk far at all.

This a required stop when I’m in Houston. The food is amazing and the staff is so nice. The smokehouse burger with the truffle fries was the best burger I’ve ever had in my life.
