Tue Tam is one of the best vegetarian restaurants in the Bellaire area. The salads are fresh and colorful. The soups tasty and nutritious. The Rice in the Clay Pot is unique and flavorful. The green color of the rice comes from fresh spinach and herbs , all the ingredients “burn” against the clay giving the rice and the mushrooms a delicious smoky aroma. The rice plates are well prepared and served in prompt manner. The owner lady is friendly and would explain the preparation process if every dish. Truly a unique experience.

I've been vegetarian for 5 years, and finding a homemade and authentic vegetarian restaurant is tricky. This is a hidden gem in Bellaire! The quality is felt in every bite. The owner is down to earth, and she hand makes each item daily on the menu. Each dish is curated meticulously and is fresh with quality produce and products! The aroma is soft, and taste is flavorful! You can almost believe it was made with meat! My family who eats meat even loves this place! Highly recommend!

Delicoiusss! I came in for 1 dish and ended up ordering several dishes. It’s amazing that the food is very light and yet full of flavors such as lemon grass, Vietnamese coriander, bamboo blossoms etc. Their food tastes fresh and just like the regular non-vegan food in Vietnam. I could go vegan if I live nearby.

Nice small restaurant with a wonderful homely atmosphere. Staff are kind, polite, and attentive. The meals are well balanced, in taste and texture. The fish platter is our family's favorite. Mango salad is refreshing, and my wife enjoys their house made teas and drinks.
