Blatch's BBQ

Have been absolutely livid from the moment I had my first bite. I’m so angry that I can’t have this every day, and that my stomach isn’t big enough to eat 3 meals of this at once. Angry that I couldn’t in a million years replicate this at home because the flavors and textures are just too damn good. I’m angry that I cannot take a bath in the slaw and the brisket mac and cheese. But most of all, I’m furious—nay, seething—that I the owner is not my own personal chef. It’s all unfair. This place is just too yummy.

First time trying Blatch’s! I tried their turkeyless bacon ranch panini and loved it! The owners are very friendly and allow new and returning customers feel at home. I will be returning to try out their full bbq menu!

I ordered ahead of time for a catering event. I trusted the reviews even though, for me anyway, I typically am wary of buying food from people's houses and not commercial kitchens. And, boy, was I really happy with it!! The atmosphere walking in was crazy comforting. There was a long line, which was encouraging to see the hype. But everyone's energy, including customer's energy, was so welcoming and nice! The two people working were so sweet and helpful. I was provided with very easy heating instructions for my event (since it was on a Saturday, a day they weren't open). As someone who hasn't tried vegan meat substitute before, the food was incredible. Everything but the jackfruit had a texture very similar to jerky. The tast ess amazing as well! I was accommodating for a few people who don't eat meat and almost everyone at the party (30+ people) tried and liked it, who also weren't familiar with vegan food. 10/10, would go back again. Also saw a cute black cat that I pspspsps'd which was also a highlight. And a big ole puppy dog that I'm unsure if it was the owner's or not but seemed so chill.

I am not….correction…. I am now a vegan fan. Super friendly people and eager to educate the uneducated (myself) that vegan food can taste just as good if not better than non vegan food. I still love my non vegan foods but for a very healthy alternative I would give these guys 10 stars if I could. Very refreshing and delicious. I will definitively be a return customer. Thank you

Cute cat, amazing food, owners are awesome. Can’t even tell the difference between this and actual meat it’s just that good. If I could give it more than 5 stars it would definitely be a 20 out of 5. Definitely recommend.

I ordered the brioche monster. Overall just ok. The sauce was far too vinegary for my liking but I was impressed with the bottled hot sauces sold in the restaurant and the owner is a very outgoing, warm person.

Simply the best in all ways.

This is hands down the best BBQ I've ever had. It's obviously made with a great deal of care and love. The hot sauces are worth coming here for alone.

Came from out of town and got quite a few recommendations for this place as a vegan. I got a big platter to try a bunch of options. The brisket, garlic steak strips, and korean bbq strips were real good but the jackfruit could have used a bit more kick. If you prefer less spice you’d probably favor the jackfruit. THE HATCH CHILE MAC WAS THE BEST VEGAN MAC IVE EVER HAD, I wish I got more! I was not a fan of the potato salad at all I literally couldn’t eat it I’m sorry… the tumeric was giving dirt. The BBQ beans using black beans was a cool twist. Coleslaw was good! The place was a cool house vibe and I loved the cat chillin on the couch!

seriously never misses. if you want amazing hospitality and unbelievable food - get ur ass to blatchs!! seriously a blessing in the city. its a good day to be vegan🌱
