This restaurant is often recommended by the local vegan group and my husband and I were excited to have a toddler-free lunch date to try it. Being new, we wanted to try everything so we ordered the mezze platter and added on the muhammurah For an entree, I had the falafel encrusted tofu and my husband ordered the Mediterranean wrap. The tofu is a really unique dish I haven't had elsewhere and seemed like a fish alternative. There was also a surprising amount of vegan dessert options so we enjoyed a chocolate mousse pie. We had tea and Turkish coffee which were good but I saw a lot of other tasty cocktails (perhaps the non-alcoholic options) on other tables and think we'd like to try those next time.

My last review of Baladi's was negative which surprised even me but I recently tried them again and I'm happy to say that I was very satisfied. I had the chicken avocado wrap and it was delicious. I called ahead to place my order (for take out) and when I arrived, I had to wait less than a minute for the meal to come out. The only negative was that there was quite a bit of oil when I unwrapped it but the flavor was scrumptious.

I love this place. We asked for wraps and were told it’s only during lunch time. A few minutes later we see the table next to us being served the wraps. Waiter was frustrated as well but could not explain what happened.

Taste buds went crazy awesome! New favorite restaurant. Wow! Grape leaves were amazing with the sauce, must have. Need to go back sooner than later.

(DINE IN EXPERIENCE MAY VARY) Baladi Mediterranean Cafe really redefined “platter” for me. For $28, I got a giant pile of lettuce, a few crumbs of lamb, and a couple of tomatoes thrown in for moral support. The lentil soup was fine, if you like sipping disappointment out of a shot glass. And the pita bread? It wasn’t pita, it was a dinner roll in disguise, like it wandered into the wrong restaurant. For that price, I was hoping for Mediterranean food not a sad salad bar. atmosphere was immaculate though

The Food is a definite Plus especially the Grouper with Spicy Tahini was by far the greatest dish I have ever tasted at Baladi. Unfortunately service was a mix bag and I can tell the black gentleman isn’t cut out to be a server. He forgot our drinks and forgot to do our refills. I had to wait until we got our entrees to ask where is our waters at. The server hasn’t even checked with us to ask if we needed anything else or how’s food in your liking. Overall food and the ambience is amazing. The black server needs to find another gig that doesn’t involved with being service job.

Came on a slow Thursday afternoon and were seated right away. After 30 minutes, no one came by to take our order or even offer water. I told the host we were ready to order, and he said he’d let a waitress know, still nothing. Meanwhile, a new table was immediately greeted and served. There were at least five staff on the floor, but we were completely ignored. We left without ordering. Really disappointing service.
