Highly recommend this place! Food was excellent, and the service was great. I also loved the ambiance. Best part of this restaurant was the feeling that I could eat anything on the menu without restrictions as a vegetarian. Once again, highly recommend!

Araya’s Place in Bellevue is one of my favorite spots for Thai food and it’s all vegan! Everything I’ve tried is super flavorful, especially the yummy mango sticky rice and thai tea made with coconut milk. The vibe inside is cute, cozy, and welcoming. The staff is awesome as well. Even if you’re not vegan, you’ll love it. They get busy for good reason! Definitely worth a visit!

Small space but good ambience. Recommend to try Tom Yum Fried Rice - feel just like what I eat in my hometown!

I am posting this review based on my frequent visit to Araya's Place. They have two locations and the Bellevue is my go-to. The store is small and often packed but staff are nice and friendly. They work their best to accommodate everyone in fast pace. It is a bit noisy in my opinion but what can you expect in a busy place? The food I ordered was Drunken Mushroom noodle with Udon and Oh my lord! As a Thai person, born and bred in Thailand - this vegan Thai food is not lack of flavor at all. It is super tasty with the right spice. The portion is huge so it is definitely worth the money I spent. One concern is parking lot which is hard to find but I always end up paying inside the garage so I do not have to waste my time and gas looking around. I am definitely coming back when I am in town and would recommend to try.

It's such a shame that the food quality here is so low. Oily, salty, heavy unflavorful with food safety issues. I traveled for several weeks all over Thailand and Araya's is not Thai cuisine at all. There are no Thai spices or flavor - it's just heavy oily sauces and fried Chinese style. Tom Yum soup I had almost every day in Thailand and here at Araya's it tastes nothing like the real thing, no real spices just heavy chili oil. It's also sad because there aren't many vegetarian spots in Seattle. Please improve!

This used to be a wonderful thai place with impeccable food. My experience last night was a farcry from my nostalgic memories. We walked in, got on the queue and were asked to come back in “an hour”. We decided to go grocery shopping nearby. We got the callback in 15 mins - When we spoke to them on the call , they mentioned only being able to hold the place for 10 mins. We rushed to the restaurant and the host complained about us not responding to the phone call 😶‍🌫️ . She gave us a table wedged in a small space by the portable air conditioners. The space was super noisy and i could barely hear conversation - The floors, walls were grimy and the decor is falling apart. i can only imagine the condition of the back kitchen. The food was palatable but nothing to rave about. I can understand that the restaurant is popular and earning the goodwill of a long history of great service. However, do yourself a favor and choose a different thai restaurant from the plethora of options nearby.
