Govinda's Restaurant

Beautiful and peaceful place surrounded by nature. The huge banyan tree is stunning and adds to the calm vibe. The vegetarian restaurant serves food buffet-style, and you pay by weight. Everything was fresh, tasty, and well-prepared. One of the best vegetarian spots in Honolulu. Highly recommend visiting if you’re in the area!

I tried EVERYTHING on the lunch buffet. All deliciously flavored, some slightly spicy but not at all "hot". Will return for sure. Also feel i acquired some knowledge. Thank you.

まいちゃんに誘ってもらって、初めてヒンドゥー寺院へ。 静かな雰囲気に包まれていて、まるで別世界。 木々が風に揺れて、葉っぱがサラサラと鳴る音が心地いい。 その中で食べた量り売りのヴィーガン料理がマジで美味しくてびっくり。 本場の味そのもの。 スパイスの香りが優しくて、体に染み渡る感じ。 ホノルルでこんな場所があるなんて知らなかった。 最高の時間でした。

Awesome vegan food.

The food was fair, not awful, but less flavor than other Indian buffets. Great vegan and vegetarian selection. You pay by weight so for vegetables, rice, lentils it is fairly expensive for a plate.

This is inside Iskon Hawaii. Monday's buffet is all vegan except for desserts. Other days have all-vegetarian menu with some vegan items. The food tasted good but it got cold when we had it around 1:30 PM. Try to reach it as soon as they open if you want to get the best out of it. It is not all you can eat. They weigh the plate and charge you per pound. Kinda expensive!

Vegan-friendly lunch buffet, calm, and peaceful atmosphere. It was fantastic to see Iskcon Hawaii have almost all of their dishes Vegan on Mondays. This was the menu on Apr 15, 2024. I was told that on other days too, they usually have many of their dishes as Vegan. They mark it clearly as seen in this pic.

Food is ridiculously oily

Can’t comment on the food but what I don’t like is all the food is served on single use paper plates and single use cups. It’s 2024, businesses should be thinking about their impact of waste and the environment. So much garbage produced here that goes to the landfills.
