It's pretty good. The atmosphere was pleasant. Service was fantastic. Food was decent.

We order spicy wontons, turnips cake and wide rice noodle. Everything tasted amazing, the noodle soup came out lukewarm, I prefer my soup hot so I requested them to heat it up. They were able to accommodate my request quickly.

First time in the new location which has a nice cozy vibe on the inside. The food is great for Vegans and people with Celiacs. There are a lot of gluten free options which is rare with dim sum. The bunny bao are cute and tasty and I kind of felt bad eating them. I enjoyed the chili wantons and the sesame cucumber.

My wife and I went for early dinner on Father's Day. We had not been to the former "Ichiza" now Jade Rabbit. This location is much more preferable - it's bigger, more comfortable and really in a safer part of Portland. Reasonably priced, great service and as expected, top notch culinary skills on display. Kudos to the proprietors and all involved for giving vegans delicious options like these

I have been wanting to eat here for literal YEARS but finally took the time to just go and dive into the wonderfulness that is the menu of Chef Cyrus. First off. The atmosphere of the new location is INSANE. it’s beautiful. Magically put together and curated with so much attention to detail. I’m very excited to watch the growth to seating in the courtyard out back! The service? 10/10. BEST service I’ve experienced in all of Portland. The host and waitstaff (Emma was our server) were so kind and patient, even newer employees had amazing knowledge and excellent recommendations for someone who was overwhelmed by all the options I needed to try but couldn’t eat it all at once! Now let’s get to the food. Everything was expertly crafted. Made with passion and love. And INCREDIBLY fresh. The presentation of everything was perfect as well. The flavor of each dish exploded again and again with every bite. This was hands down the best vegan food I’ve had across the entire US. Thank you to the Chefs and wait staff for the amazing experience. I will be here a million more times to try everything left on the menu.

This is from the veganizer event. We are a couple and waited 30 minutes in line to be told only 1 item per group? Wouldn't let us get 1 each when we each wanted to pay for our own?Absolutely nonsense. The person was also pretty rude in explaining this. The takoyaki was $14 for only green onions/ginger, no substitute for octopus (easily mushrooms for the price). It also TASTED BAD, it was literally burnt and bland :/

Overall a super positive experience with a unique, thoughtfully crafted menu. The rangoons are a must order in my opinion and the experience of drinking tea here was excellent. Care and intention was present in every aspect of the meal. The interior of the restaurant is warm and welcoming also. The person who sat my partner and I was friendly and answered our questions thoughtfully, helping us order items that we’d enjoy the most. Tip is built into the pricing as a service fee which is wonderful—I love seeing vegan businesses take steps to provide a livable wage for staff. I feel like we could have been checked on by servers a little more especially because there weren’t a lot of tables it seemed, and my partner and I had dirty plates for awhile plus we needed to seek out a server to put in a dessert order instead of someone checking on us after giving us a dessert menu. Something to be aware of but not a big deal. You definitely want to come here when you aren’t in a hurry to enjoy the menu fully and savor everything.

This place is such a good vibe. The atmosphere and presentation were delightful and welcoming, as was the food and drink. However, it did seem a little lacking in flavor on some items and not others. The prices reflect quality ingredients however and that was apparent. The vegan pork, chicken, and beef were delicious, as was the chili oil. It just seemed to be missing a little bit of the kick (perhaps umami is what I am thinking), but was still very comforting. The chili oil will creep up on you in spice (which we loved). We thought the 22% gratuity (split among all hourly employees) was a smart move. The staff seemingly doesn’t babysit their tables, which I actually appreciated, but if you expect hovering service, this isn’t the place so be aware before you go and approach with understanding. We also loved how they included on their menu an ask that patrons not assume gender identity or ethnicity of staff. This place is a great asset to the community and we will be back! 🐇
