Araya's Place

Amazing Panang curry and veggie tempura which comes with a delicious honey dipping sauce. I’m not even vegan but after coming here, this is one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle.

Araya’s was very busy when we visited since it was on the uw graduation day. Some of the items tasted much similar to each other. We ordered 3 rice items and i wouldn’t say that they were very different. I also ordered the mango juice from the menu and it didn’t feel like fresh juice, but more like the mango nectar i usually buy from costco. Dont get me wrong, the food was tasty in general, but to me it could be better.

Always love coming to eat here since 2004... though they've been around much longer

Phenomenal food, great portions, sweet staff, lovely ambiance. The food is made so well and authentically, full of flavor and depth!! I could seriously eat there every day.

The pumpkin curry is one of the best I’ve had. We really enjoyed the brussels sprouts, chive cakes, and other apps too.

This restaurant is beautifully decorated. The vegetarian dishes were flavorful. The veggies were fresh and crunchy. We both enjoyed our meals. Very pleased with the service and the tasty entrees.

Food is always good here. But for the first Time the service wasn’t up to par. The servers didn’t check on us. We had to flag them down. The tables and chairs closer to the south wall is tight. The servers and other patrons kept Hitting my chair. It was a let down.

Always a star place. Never has disappointed

Had rice noodle and tofu: 4/5 Thai fried rice: 4.5/5 (because of more sweetness) Chocolate bar: 3.5/5 (the cake is very dry and crumbly, the chocolate bar on top is not bad. Loved the presentation)
